I recently spent some time in Guy's Hospital - see http://bigbuzzard.blogspot.com. There are two grand pianos there. One is lovely, the other has seen better days, but would be loads better after a decent tuning session, and a touch of basic maintenance. I'm sure it's not a top priority for the NHS to pay to sort this out.
