The information I got from the web says that's how TFN works. Maybe this is because the cost of setting up the event is 25 quid or more per person. Maybe it's because the group is appealing to people who might easily spend that on going out to a play and dinner, or going to a football match. However, it's important to remember that you are welcome to attend and pledge nothing at all.
