More details
The meeting is being organized by The Funding Network (www.thefundingnetwork.org.uk).

Their web site explains how it works, but basically you go along after work, and different charities each have 12 minutes to present and answer questions on what they do.

There's a pledging session afterwards, and if you like the work of one of the charities then you can make a donation (typically 100 quid up).

But I'm not asking you to give any money, just to go along and hear the pitches. It's a few hours of your time if you work in central London -- and could well be fun.

Drinks and some food are provided; the meeting is at Coutts Bank (the fancy building in the Strand with the atrium). Full details are at http://www.thefundingnetwork.org.uk/curr...
