More details
The idea comes from the Rev Andrew Cain, who keeps three hens in the garden of his church at Priory Road NW3.
He thought it would be nice for people who keep chickens to be able to get together.
I'll set up a web site if we get some interest from other people who keep chickens or who might be interested in keeping chickens.
All you need to do to pledge is to say you're interested in the idea of setting up the Association and its web site. No other obligation at all.
The site would help aspiring chicken-keepers find mentors whose gardens they can visit to see chickens and who can teach them useful stuff.
And it would act as an information exchange for people who already keep chickens.

When I just started keeping chickens I often felt very alone when dealing with problems, specially with diseases as vets can't often help.
Did you know that you can print out a automatically prepared flyer from this web site?
On the pledge, under Spread the Word, there's a link to "print out customized flyers".
Please do print it out and post it somewhere prominent.
Thank you!
Or chicken-aspiring friends? After all, www.londonist.com says LACK is deeply fashionable.
