The aim is to make travel on the underground more friendly and less frightening, particularly after the terrorist attacks in July.

I think it would be particularly good to engage with people of different age groups and ethnicity. Please don't just engage with gorgeous young things - the idea is to make everybody feel more comfortable, not just to entertain you!

• I thik this is a really important pledge but the anonomised nature of the tube means that people think you're crazy if you even make eye contact with people.

• I know people are likely to think you a weirdo, but it doesn't need to be a big deal, Flora. It could be just making much more of those potential opportunities for conversation that arise anyway e.g. when there's yet another delay announced, or when somebody just about squeezes on as the doors close.
