Kingston Council are determined to remove this tree (in July) which has acted as a natural traffic calming device for over a decade. Every child who walks to the local school has benefitted from its presence. It's removal will not only deprive us of a beautiful tree but give the green light to all of the boy-racers who currently have to decrease their speed when approaching it. I will produce petitions, contact the media, lobby Councillors and distribute fliers.
